1 What is CPLC (Closed circuit power line communication) system and how does it work?

The CPLC system is a lighting control system developed to control luminaires individually.
Except for battery-powered luminaires, the luminaire must be connected to the power line to light it.
Communication using power lines has already been commercialized, but in the case of the existing method, the reliability of communication is greatly affected by the environment.
The CPLC system is a new concept communication method that is not affected by the environment at all as it is designed to enable communication only in a closed circuit via the lighting control device.

2 The principle of Closed circuit power line communication

  • Communicates only in a closed circuit via LCS and does not modulate the signal
  • Does not affect peripheral devices and is not affected by peripheral devices (the biggest difference from existing PLC technology)
  • Almost no communication distance limit (refer to the test report that communicated 109,500 times without errors at a distance of 3km)
  • The circuit of the receiver is very simple and there is no failure
  • When the CPLC module (node) is embedded in the converter, it takes up little space for installation.
  • 0-10V, 1-10V, PWM type lighting fixtures can be controlled by an external receiver
  • Light fixtures without dimming function can be individually controlled on/off using Ry node
  • Optimal solution when applying smart lighting control system to existing buildings as well as new buildings.
  • Proven communication performance in the field in various environments
